Although Alia Bhatt's character does a lot of saying, "SHIVAAAA," in the film, it appears that there is more going on than just that.
If you haven't seen the movie yet, you may want to look away now, as what follows may contain spoilers.
- One estimate puts the cost of making Brahmastra at 410 crores of rupees, making it one of India's most expensive movies ever. Numerous producers, including Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji, and Ranbir Kapoor, are overseeing the film's production.
- Second, the film's production spanned five years. Principal photography on the production began in 2018 and will conclude in 2022.
- Brahmastra is the first film in which Ranbir and Alia have co-starred.
- The fact that it was their first time working with Amitabh Bachchan made it a perfect four.
- Nagarjuna finally makes his comeback to the Hindi film industry with Brahmastra. The LOC: Kargil episode was his most recent TV appearance (2003).
- Shah Rukh Khan plays a character named Mohan Bhargav, who is also the name of a character he played in the 2004 film Swades.
- Mumbai, Varanasi, the Himalayas, London, Bulgaria, Edinburgh, New York, and Thailand were just some of the locations used to film the movie.
- Several sources claim that the film was originally titled Dragon but was later retitled Brahmastra.
- You can watch the movie in any of these nine languages: Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam. It is translated into these five tongues. The distribution of the film in Southern India is SS Rajamouli's responsibility.
- DNEG, a British-Indian studio that has worked on films like Dune and Inception, produced the visual effects for Brahmastra. The visual effects in Brahmastra were created by DNEG.
- It was the 13th-century Persian poet Rumi who inspired both the film and Ranbir's part in it.
- Last but not least, Ayan Mukerji's Astraverse includes a trilogy of books called Brahmastra.
